However, if you're going to be outside, as in having to walk on grass, you need to think about your heels -- will they withstand soft ground or will the act more like golf tees and sink straight down? Or, if you're on a deck, is there the possibility of a stiletto heel slipping right between the cracks?
We're not saying don't wear them, but we do want you to be aware -- there's nothing fun about not being able to put any weight on your heels for an entire night. When at all possible, find out what kind of flooring to expect, and plan accordingly. For one thing, you want to be comfortable. Plus, you don't want to fall and look foolish. And, most importantly, you don't want to risk breaking a shoe!
