Tip of the day: Start using Ojon... like right now.

We have never been so smitten with a product before than Ojon's Restorative Treatment. We love, love, love this product. We've tried countless hair treatments and have raided the local Sephora far too many times but this... this stuff is the real deal.

We first heard about Ojon when our silly obsession with Gisele Bunchen's long mane brought us to the word. "Gisele uses Ojon. Must learn more." Apparently a little tribe in Central America called the Miskito Indians has been harvesting the fruits of the tree that bears the Ojon oil for centuries. When the tribe was discovered one of the first things noted was their stunning hair and skin. We mean, well... hot damn, just check out that kid's hair in the picture!

Still not convinced? Here are some more reasons you should totally give this stuff a whirl.
  • Ojon is 99% natural, organic, vegetarian... whatever you want to call it.
  • Your helping the tribe's economy. The Ojon Company allows them to harvest the way they have for centuries. The company also provides them with clay ovens and additional resources. A good way to go green and do your part.
  • Gisele uses it, which should be enough since her hair is as good as it gets. But in case you need a little more star power to prove its worth Demi Moore, Liv Tyler, Rachel Bilson, Catherine Zeta Jones, Scarlett Johansson and even a manly man like Orlando Bloom all use it.
So get sexy, celebrity worthy hair all while doing a good deed? Sign us up!

If you decide to give it a try, let us know how it works out so we can totally gloat and say "we told you so."

PS: Now that we've seen what Ojon can do for the hair, we're also down to try their skin product that apparently has the antioxidant power of 204 blueberries. 204 blueberries? Guess they couldn't squeeze in that last one to make it a nice, round number for our anal retentive minds but we'll take what we can get and keep you posted on the prog.

I do not drink coffee but I like to smell it. It smells like fresh beans. I used it after a perm and I really have not seen a different but maybe after a few more washes I will.

I wish I could get the stuff straight because its have chemical of alcohol that stripe hair too. But I do not notice anything different from a 6.99 bottle of Olive oil but hey.

People who are trying to get celebrity hair Quit it. One they had a stylist team. So even if theyre hair is not acting right they can make a lace wig that will do the trick.

I went to visit my mom, who RAVES about this product, in Las Vegas earlier this month. Within an hour of unpacking our stuff, she brandished the jar for my inspection. Vegan - W00T! So she rubs it in and OHMIGOD it works! Even my husband's usually dry patch of hair in the front was calmed. Every day it seemed that my hair couldn't get any softer than it had just been made, but we had to go home and mom wouldn't drop her guard for long enough to steal the jar. =(

We found a 3.8oz jar on eBay for $18 after shipping, bought it, and it arrived today. Oh Ojon, I've missed you so! And the smell? It's odd but I like it. It smells a bit like coconut oil to me.

I have been using OJON for about a year. It is like a gift from above..
I have very fine, really curly bleached long hair and have fought the frizzies and dryness for nearly 50 years..this product and shampoo and conditioners are unbelievable. My hair is shiney, soft and the smell is beautiful..I think it smells a bit like chocolate, my daughter came to visit and took it home with her. Men seem to love the smell , really everyone..the skin products are also wonderful. I've stopped wearing any fragrances and I get more compliments than I ever have before about how great I smell..Its like magic!

as a professional stylist of 28 years, i have found that Kerastase products are technologically far superior than OJON. While OJON contains great ingredients that would work on healthier hair types, much like Aveda. On the otherhand, Kerastase uses state-of-the-art science to deal with the most delicate of hairtypes.
