Matt Damon almost makes pudgy cool for men

Notice anything different about Matt (soon to be former Sexiest Man Alive) Damon lately? No, it's not the Celtics hat (although: Yay Boston!) and yes, he's still wearing his wedding ring.

It's the jowls! He's packing on the weight, and it's not just a couple of sympathy pounds to go with his wife Luciana's pregnancy. In his own words, he's doughy.

Sure, it's for a movie role, but you know guys across the country will now be gesturing, with their beer hands, to their bellies and saying, "Hey, if it's good enough for Matt Damon's wife, it's good enough for you, babe."

Sigh. We hate the double standard, and will not condone his man fat. Male celebrities cannot start getting all real!

Take a page out of Hugh Jackman's book, Mr. Damon, and get back to us when you're ready to uphold your unrealistic expectations duties.

Haters... Good for You Matt!! I havent dug in my pocket to hand any movie thearter the out of control price they're asking these days in a LOOOOng time. I will make it a point to save up for Matt's next film as a matter of principle. Hello Hollywood yes beefcake is usually what I want if I'm gonna give you my time and attention...HOWEVER, whats better than beefcake????? Beefcake that is clearly not trying to get an other woman's attention. Beefcake that seems to have forgotten other women exist. Proudly wearing the symbol of his commitment to me. Now that's what really makes us hot after all... isn't it? the fantasy that he's almost close enough to touch. Why? because if only we had the opportunity to cross his path in real life maybe he would notice what it is that makes me special and he maybe he would be stopped in his tracks and hang a taken sign around his neck.

Listen, he is a professional. Do you really think he can't buff up for a role?Hollywood is famous for the ability to get the slackers in fighting shape. This is someone who shares his talent with the rest of us. Can't he just enjoy his regular life without people feeding like vultures on a bad picture? Every confirming comment to this newsshould be required to submit personal photo. Haters... He hasn't turned into a disgusting fat slob. He just looks like a regular guy . As someone who took the time to read it I'm insulted.
