Rachel Bilson modeling for Edie Rose

We've seen several celebrity clothing lines fall recently, and often the retailer blames the celeb in question for not making appearances to promote their brand. It doesn't look like that's going to be a problem, however, for Rachel Bilson and her clothing line, Edie Rose for DKNY Jeans -- the petite fashionista didn't just help design the clothes; she's modeling them as well.

Is Rachel Bilson worthy?

Rachel stars with several models in a true-to-form DKNY ad, with a New York-inspired background, like buildings, beams, and signs.

According to a mouthpiece for DKNY, Rachel "was really hands-on with the entire process," making the clothes "come to life in such a youthful, authentic way ... always youthful, but appropriate."

Donna Karan! Say it isn't so! Don't fall into that celebrity wanna be designer trap! How can you? To let your company try and tell people that it's Rachel doing the designing? No way. I believe that if she or any other celeb out there didn't have the $$ they are making now, or the name or fans, they would never consider anything in fashion.
