Lauren Conrad to design dresses for the Emmy's - Whose idea was THAT?

Seemingly mere minutes after we told you that Lauren Conrad doesn't actually design the clothes in her collection (about which we're sure you were shocked beyond belief) comes other LC fashion news -- apparently, she has been asked to design dresses for the Emmy Awards.

Yeah, we're pretty baffled, too.

  • White House Correspondents' Association Dinner
The dresses will be for the women handing out statues, and Lauren is, of course, thrilled, saying, "I will be doing a red carpet look that still reflects the simple classic design of the Lauren Conrad Collection but with a black tie twist."

Well, if the one-of-a-kind dress she designed for herself to wear at the Teen Choice Awards is any indication of her "black tie twist," we're expecting to be ... entertained. But you know, we could be surprised. Most of the time, the girl does look pretty great on the red carpet. We're looking forward to seeing the final outcome, whichever way it goes.

Jealousy brings out the hate in people. Anyone would love the opportunities she has gotten. She does design her clothing line. You believe the rumors you want to believe because you hate her. Jealousy will get you nowhere in life.

Hate and jealousy are such strong emotions they really don't apply
here. Bloggers don't hate the celebrities they write about, nor are they jealous of them. And by the way did you happen to SEE that tie-dyed bedsheet she wore to the Teen Choice Awards. I might have to watch the Emmy how just to see the dresses she comes up with. :o)

No one is jealous of LC except for that horse-faced cow Heidi Montag.

Eeeksh, those will be some cheap, derivative dresses at the Emmys. She's so vapid that they might *actually* be made of twisted black ties. Can't wait!
