Dress of the day: Slater by Diane von Furstenberg
Say what you will, Diane von Furstenberg knows dresses. We love this black wool jersey dress because of the asymmetrical piping at the waist, which draws the eye to the sexy curve at the waistline and away from the hips (which are probably fine, btw - just ask your best friend, but we understand - we don't like to accentuate ours either.)
One thing, we wouldn't wear this dress with the shoes pictured- they're simply too clunky. Try some sexy strapless sandals or spectator pumps for a bit of retro glam.
