Robert Cavalli says models are nothing more than wood
Did anyone else used to be a little scared and in awe of Robert Cavalli? Yeah, us too. But, now all fear is gone and only repulsion has come to take it's place. Robert Cavalli has turned his back on the walking clothes hangers that give his designs life -- the models.
He was recently quoted as saying, "For me, models are just pieces of wood that I carve to make clothes look beautiful. There are thousands of models like all other models. Naomi Campbell is the same way."
Cavalli also added that Kate Moss doesn't "have what it takes to be a true star."
What an arrogant man. Does he think his wrinkly orange self could do a better job of selling the brand than the beautiful models who wear his clothes? Sorry buddy, nobody wants to buy designer duds off the body of an aging oompa loompa.
Jossip couldn't have put it better when they he shouldn't bite "the malnourished hand that feeds him."

Sounds to me like Mr. Cavalli was just saying that a good model must be somewhat of a charmeleon, able to bring to life which ever she is selling.
