With all of the beauty products and cosmetics being marketed to men, it's really no surprise that more and more men are electing to go under the knife. However, one procedure in particular is catching on with lightening speed -- manbag (or eye-lift) surgery has more than quadrupled over the last two years in one chain of clinics, with similar increases seen across the board.It's not just men in the entertainment industry who are opting to have a little work done. Businessmen are hitting up the cosmetic surgeons, too -- a trend that some believe has more to do with the current economy than with vanity. Some businessmen believe a smart, youthful, wide-awake appearance could help them hang on to their jobs or find a new one more easily.
We suppose if you're worried about losing your job, getting plastic surgery is one option. Or, you know, you could hold on to those thousands of dollars in case you do lose your job. Whatever.
And, while getting rid of eyebags is one of the most common reasons for men having cosmetic surgery, getting rid of "man boobs" is also incredibly popular. We guess we can expect to see more men looking wide awake and youthful with perky pecs in coming years.
