Olympic gymnast Nastia Liukin to become major brand
Nastia Liukin is an undeniable star. Watching gymnastics you just can't take your eyes off her. Aside from the fact that she's physically beautiful, the young girl also seems to possess a self awareness and a maturity that not every young athlete has. Sports agent, Evan Morgenstein, wants to capitalize on the public fascination with this Olympic gold medalist before it dies down.
The U.S. has a history of obsession with gymnasts. The fact that our country has had a plethora of cute girls winning medals while performing feats of daring most people only dream about, helps. And every time the summer Olympics rolls around we all focus on one gymnastics it girl.
In the past we've had Mary Lou Retton, Shannon Miller and Kerri Strug. This year our attention is divided between smiley Shawn Johnson and her more serious counterpart Nastia. While Shawn's enthusiasm is infectious, Nastia barely cracked a smile throughout the entire competition -- leading us to think, "That's one fierce bitch."
Seriously, browse through the gallery and tell us you aren't a little bit enthralled with this pixie too.
Nastia can already be seen in the Disney movie Stick It, she has done commercials for Adidas and one of her biggest sponsors is AT&T. Her agent is hoping that soon she'll be branching out into products more suitable for a woman rather than a girl. She's in talks to represent a jeans company, she already had her own line of leotards and may soon be doing commercials for a major cosmetics company.
Evan wants to maximize her earning potential and make sure that "the name Naaahhhstia goes on forever." We're sure it will. With an Olympic gold medal Nastia's place in history is already cemented --becoming a household name via major endorsements is just the icing on the cake.

Nastia Liukin got hosed. anybody that follows gymnastics knows that and chinese girl is 16? wow, I find that hard to believe but it is beijing and we all know about home cookin' that goes on but Nastia's uneven bar routine was so much better. Throw out that tiebreaker. they are both worthy of the gold so give it to both of them...
