Obama and Clinton: The t-shirt sale

Remember when the Obama and Clinton ticket was rumored to be the hot item of the fall? Well, it's not. Obama picked Joe Biden (an announcement mistaken by many as a possible booty call) as his running mate for the 2008 election and t-shirts across America went on clearance.

That's what happens in the world of political t-shirts, high risk and high reward. We do think it interesting that the clearance price at Perez Hilton's little boutique is still sixteen bucks (that's an $8 savings!). How is that a clearance price? We like our clearance items to be priced in single digits.

We think the price will drop drastically after the Democratic Convention this week in Denver.

We're also curious as to why we haven't seen any Obama/Biden shirts. What's the hold-up, Internet?

Whit Honea is a slacker, a borderline degenerate, and a daydream believer. He's also our resident expert on casual chic. If it's comfortable, and not heinous, he's all over it. He's quite charming, really.

As a Democrat I don't know what to say anymore. I don't know what to think anymore!! Why didn't he choose Hillary?? WHY??!!?? A President would have worked it out with Hillary and worked WITH her!! I don't understand all of this!! I don't understand anything anymore!! I've just been BETRAYED so damn much by Obama!! SO DAMN MUCH!!

I will IN NO WAY vote for Obama now!! There's just NO WAY NOW!!!!!!!! :(

Now, I a young strong woman who wanted Hillary too. But like all things good things come and go. I can't dwell on that fact that Hillary didn't win. I wanted her to win more than anything. And I'm was in line with Hillary much more than Obama in a great deal of issues. But I could never see my self a lined with John McCain. Women have come to far to allow for him to become president even if he just picked a female vice president. What I'm trying to get at is the abortion issue. Why should a man decide and put a law that tells a woman what she can do with her body.

I understand the whole pro life thing. But damn it, it's my body. And no one will tell me what I can and can not do with it. And for that alone, I will never vote Republican (even if McCain picked a female vp).

If you don't want to vote for Obama Biden, then fine. But if McCain and that lady win, and they make abortions illegal. Remember, you help set the woman's movement back into pre- 1960. And that isn't moving forward.
