We're seeing a lot of heeled shooties (shoe-like boots) this season, and, truth be told, we're not falling all over ourselves for them. We know that a heavier shoe is hot and all, but some of them just seem a little awkward -- like they'd cut off the leg in a bad spot, and some just don't have much style. These, however, we want.

Aside from pairing them with the short plaid mini and this fall's de rigeur crested blazer, we'd throw them on with a sharp pencil skirt and feminine blouse, and maybe even with some wider-leg black trousers to mix it up.
