We're sure you know by now just how much we love a statement necklace. Whether you're a celebrity on the red carpet or just trying to create an interesting outfit to wear to dinner with the girls, a fabulous piece of jewelry is the way to pull it all together.

This week's Styledash Giveaway wants to help you do that -- we're giving away a Melanie Auld silver owl necklace, like the one seen on Shannon Bex of Danity Kane.

This is an exclusive design -- it's not even available on the website -- and it's sure to grab attention. The simple, cutout design on a long silver chain is casual enough to wear with a tee and jeans, but you could also get funky and layer it with lots of other fun pieces.

Melanie Auld is an up and coming favorite of the Hollywood in-crowd, with celebrity fans including Hayden Panettiere. And while her designs are fabulous, many pieces are also fairly affordable!

  • To enter, leave a confirmed comment below telling us how you would wear this necklace!
  • The comment must be left before 5pm ET on Friday, Sept 12.
  • You may enter only once.
  • One winner will be selected in a random drawing.
  • One winner will receive one silver Melanie Auld Owl necklace (valued at $100).
  • Open to legal residents of the 50 United States, and the District of Columbia who are 18 or older.
Click here for complete Official Rules.

I'd be out on the streets of NYC making everyone jealous.
Grey sweater dress and black leggings -- so the owl would be the main piece!!!

The necklace is ADORABLE!

Unlike our friend from Danity Kane, I think the necklace is a standalone piece. It would be wise (heh!) to pair it with a simple fitted tee and jeans... a pair of bangin' heels would complete the ensemble. Hoot!

I was eyeing a little gold owl necklace from Lolabean, but this one is just as cute! I would show it off with my fall dresses at work.

I love this owl necklace! I've been hooked on this symbol since my trip to Greece this summer--the owl is a symbol of Athena, the goddess of wisdom and also stands for the city of Athens. So, in a nod to my Greek heritage I think I'd wear it with this turquoise blue gauzy shirt dress I got there and a white cami underneath--totally Aegean sea colors. Throw on some evil eye bracelets and let my hair stay wavy and big. As for my shoes, if the Indian Summer continues I'd rock my silver braided strap sandals with the toe posts. Turning a little cold? Black patent round toe pumps and a black scarf draped around my neck. Love this!!

This necklace is sooo cute and I've been getting into items with Owls on them! :) Perfect! I would pair this with a nice top and black pants or something! It would go with something nice to wear!

That pretty bauble is going to be worn with my LBD and with my solid color tops, jeans and heels. It's a statement piece so the rest of my clothing will be subtle so the owl can "pop"!

My grandmother (who passed away 3 years ago collected owls) so this would be the second added to my collection. I would wear this with my rust colored dress, black heels and of course with my fav owl necklace of my grams. I would keep my hair up, so you would only see the owls. This would keep grams closer to my heart and give her owl a mate! I can't wait!

When I was a little girl my Gramma gave me this little, leather coin pouch which was shaped and etched like an Owl. 15 years later and I still have and use it. This necklace is darling and reminds me of being 8 years old again.

I'd wear this with everything! It just seems to match. Hmm... maybe darkish skinny jeans with a plain white or gray t. Since my hair is short, this would catch everyone's attention immediately!

An Owl....how equisite!
H - Hang
O - On
O - Owl
T - Trend!

I think that the above "HOOT" should be included with the piece as it's description for use...

Owls stand for Intelligence so I would defiitely wear my HOOT with any outfit that I want to look "smart" in!

I give it 10 HOOTS! Can't wait to show off my OWL this fall!

sue~
