Calvin Klein Secret Obsession - Eva Mendes' sexy perfume in stores October '08

By now you've all seen the racy Eva Mends ads for Calvin Klein Secret Obsession that were deemed too sexy (oooh, nipple!) for tv. In all the nudity hulabaloo, it's easy to forget that it was an ad for an actual product, the modern update of the iconic Obsession perfume.
The new perfume, which like the old perfume is all about "the place between love and madness" will finally be in stores in October. We're still waiting, a little breathlessly, for our sample, but since we've been wearing Mr. Klein's perfumes since the 80s, we know we will love it.
Secret Obsession's scent is described as a mix of exotic plum, mace, rose de damas, egyptian jasmine, french orange flower, tuberose, cashmere woods, burnt amber, madagascan vanilla, and australian sandalwood. What a crazy mix! It's love! It's madness! It's obsession!
You what else we think is madness? In this picture of Eva and the bottle, it looks like they are milking her belly button. Is Elixir de Eva the eleventh, secret ingredient?
Seriously, we can't wait for our sample to get here! Flowers, nudity, the instability of love. It's like Calvin Klein is looking into our soul.

This is impressive. He worked with Francois Coty whose words “Give a woman the best product you can, market it in the perfect bottle, beautiful in its simplicity yet impeccable in taste, ask a reasonable price for it, and you will witness the birth of a business the size of which the world has never seen.” inspired a lot of fragrance designers.
