Selena Gomez...proof of what a great country this is! Why? Because here is someone with only average talent and a good agent can parlay that into stardom! Sort reminds me of a few others...Paris Hilton for one. No talent there either.

WHY should we even be interested in these actresses? Yes, they may have talent....but so have many others ( ! ) They have "made it" in Hollywood due, usually, to connections, (of their parents or friends), looks, and because they and/or their parents had enough money so they were able to pursue a career in the arts, instead of going to work, 9-5, like most rat-racers. I know that SOME of these people have worked very hard, taken jobs as waitresses, etc. I admire them greatly. But they can't ALL have worked for their careers a hard as most people work, (for peanuts) at dull, boring, everyday JOBS! And what about other people -- just as, if not more talented -- who excell in the sciences, and even behind-the-scenes in Hollywood. In the film, "Dead Again", a MUSIC COMPOSER is asked by a passer-by, "Are you anybody?" When the composer tells him what he does, the passer-by says, "Naw, you're nobody!" Scientists, architects, MDs, ....talents come in ALL varieties! The phrase, "Are You Anybody?" haunts most Americans. Why are these people, (and ditsy Lindsey Lohan, Britney Spears, etc.), making so many headlines, AND SO MUCH MONEY, while we poor slobs are (considered -- by ourselves and others, to be) "nobodys"?

I also don't understand how she is an actress..she clearly isnt right for the job..and she is way to "stuck up"..she also needs to stop telling young people to vote..because she can't even vote herself..she needs to get over herself..

I'm not a big fan of polka dots but to me she always looks beautiful in everything that she wears. Selena is the best and should would not wear anything that she is not comfortable with. Good job Selena you deserve all your success.
