Be honest: Do you ever really get sick of playing the "Which Sex And The City Woman Am I?" game? I used to be mostly Carrie, with a healthy dose of Charlotte and a nice dash of Samantha thrown in for spice. Now that I'm married, I'd say there's been an in increase in the Charlotte factor. I could go on...and I suspect that you could too.

Luckily, the mastermind behind the women's astonishing, character-defining fashions for the SATC series and the movie (as well as The Devil Wears Prada and many other hits), Patricia Field, has brought that level of chicness off the screen and, possibly, into your closet. And I got to meet with her! Now, I ask you: what does one wear for something like that? Answer: A Corey Lynn Calter "painted" blue dress. She liked it. It will now be in heavy rotation.

In a super short mini dress that showed off her flawless legs, Field was so nice and very thoughtful about her new one-off collection, Destination Style New York for HSN (buy items from this collection here). It's comprised of 50 pieces, and yes, each one evokes one of the characters. So if you're feeling a little bit more Miranda-esque today, no problem. The average price is -- get this -- only $75. And pieces come in sizes 2-16.

So what does Fields think is coming up next in the world of fashion? "Things are going to get sleeker, like Halston-era '70s with lots of solid color jerseys," she said (as I mentally prepared my next shopping must-haves).

Also: "Accessories, like gloves and hats, and leg adornments of all kinds. Things we haven't ever seen." She added: "Everything's getting simpler, so it's the person you see, not the embellishments on their clothes." Nice!

And what trend does she think is O-V-E-R? "Statement necklaces." From the lips of the Goddess of Style straight to your ears, you heard it here first.

I always liked Patricia Fields wacky sense of style. I think some of her stuff is way over the top, but I would l love to get one of her little dresses. I happen to LOVE Sarah Jessica Parker's line called Bitten that is available at Steve and Barry's. It is much less expensive and more practical. I LOVE clothing and love being able to wear a normal person's size after being obese as a kid and now finally getting a handle on my weight issues.

I also strive to eat healthy and lead by example for my daughters, so they don't grow up with the problems I had. I eat flax every morning for health and weight loss reasons. I have the same breakfast now every day. I recently lost 30 pounds following the weight watchers program http://www.weightwatchers.com and I now just am more watchful every day of what I eat. I have a banana low fat yogurt with golden roasted flax for breakfast every day. It is filling, keeps me regular and tastes fabulous (kinda like sesame seeds). My Weight Watchers leader recommended fitflax to me and it definitely helped the last 10 pounds to melt off. It is low carb and low cal. It is a flax and chia blend and I
think I read about it in O mag. They also listed a code to get 15% off. The site is http://www.fitflax.com and the code for 15% off is FIT15

I rarely watch HSN now as a lot of decent hosts are gone. They swipe ideas from QVC which I prefer as I've watched all 22 yrs & have seen MANY changes on both. WHY would I want overpriced clothing from a fad? The designer looks goofy anyway. With the economy the way it is, WHY? We need necessities! BTW: I had Anorexia in '77 before it had a name. I went from 146-103 & the only time I was in a size 7. But I think I paid as I now have 2 forms of Lupus which I believe my starvation ways led to this. As I turned 50 this year, a great day is when I can get up without pain & do my routines. In fact: last year I was back in the Hospital with a Reflare & a blood clot, etc. I'm Thankful for what I have.

HSN has TACKY fashions! QVC is a hundred times better!! HSN is sleezy in everything they sell and the hosts look like hookers! I hear they aren't doing well - wonder why?? It isn't just the economy, for sure.

Whenever I watch SATC, I ususally burst out laughing at whatever Carrie is wearing - "What does she have on NOW?" I like the unique and individual sense of style of each of the characters, but I just don't get Carrie's wardrobe. I love Charlotte's character clothes, and think the clothes of Miranda and Samantha are appropriate for their characters, but most of Carrie's outfits do not even go together, and channel "city tramp."
