Slow and Steady Wins the Race is a online and pop up store with a range of products from designer Mary Ping. There's more than 20 product categories like sunglasses, $100 wedding dress, coffee mugs, bags, shoes and garments for men and women. During New York Fashion Week S/S '09, Saatchi & Saatchi hosted a pop up location, shown below, that's since closed.

Just a few days away, Slow and Steady Wins the Race will open shop in Paris at 24, rue Chapon (Oct 3–5). For those that can't make the trip, the website offers most of these limited edition products, they hit the site at random intervals. At Slow & Steady Wins the Race's Myspace page, future projects and releases are easy to track. Ping's perspective is a direct rebuff to the traditional retail model. So if it seems different that anything else out there... Well, that's pretty much the point.
