Model Lily Cole gets naked - calls it art
You know, because it's French Playboy and not just regular Playboy Lily Cole just might be right. Most everything they do over there in the land of good wine and great cheese is considered artsty fartsy.
Lily is only trying to protect her reputation. She doesn't want anyone to think less of her for taking her clothes off, donning a pair of knee socks and hugging the rest of her naked body against a teddy bear. She's quoted as saying, "This is not just any nude photo, it's art."
With that statement, is she trying to convince herself or us, that her 14 page spread is more artistic than it is a cry for attention from another girl trying to stay relevant?
We're actually surprised that Lily decided to do this. She's certainly in demand in the fashion industry and is definitely already one of the most high profile models in this day and age. She really didn't need to go nude to get our attention!
