For all the lip-service paid to loving diversity and ladies of all sizes, designers still show preferential treatment to the literally little ladies.

The beautiful and curvaceous Christina Hendricks is a frequent red carpet stunner, wearing bright and daring dresses with authority. But apparently she scores high on best dressed lists because she's a good shopper, not because she has dozens of dresses from which to choose.

The Ephemerist reports that designers won't loan samples to Christina because she doesn't fit into a teeny size 2 or 4. We have to say, that is so dumb. Look at her! Talk about knowing how to dress to your best features. She's gorgeous!

If you're ostensibly a curvy lady designer, like Roberto Cavalli, or even better, an up and coming designer who wants her dresses to look their best on Entertainment Tonight and in the pages of Us Weekly, then you will show up on Christina's doorstep with a rack of dresses and your best seamstress to fit them perfectly.
