Allen B. Schwartz teams up with JC Penney

"Recession, what's that?," is undoubtedly what JC Penney is trying to say with the announcement of a second major collaboration that its in the process of dropping on the heads of the masses.
Allen B. Schwartz, the man with the retro glasses who appears on the Oprah Winfrey Show after each Oscars to show off the replicas he made of actresses gowns, has teamed up with the family-friendly department store to create a dress and sportswear collection. Called Allen B., the collection -- much like I [Heart] Ronson -- is geared towards attracting a much younger and hipper customer, say, between the ages of 25 to 34 into the company's stores.

Recessionistas -- those who are determined to look fly during this recessionary period -- start saving your hard earned pennies now! The line drops next February.
