Drawing on the legendary Edie Sedgewick and Betsey Johnson as muses, Baro's collection is professional without being preppy, and inventive without being batdung crazy.

"I wanted to do something functional. I was tired of making my own clothes on a regular basis and getting asked where I bought the particular piece. I was constantly hearing my peer's mention that they could not find clothing that exemplified their personality and professionalism, and if they did, it was over priced for the quality they were receiving. I wanted to do something modern-something that would satisfy their needs at a price they could afford."
