tantowelRegardless of what month is on the calendar, many of us like to have a natural-looking, sun-kissed glow. Especially those of us who live in southern states -- people expect us to be a little tan, you know? But, tanning beds are so last millennium -- we'll sacrifice a lot to look good, but risking skin cancer is more than we're willing to do.
That's why we were so excited when TanTowel contacted us and offered to let us review the product. TanTowel claims to be the first company to incorporate self-tanning formula into a towelette, making it easy to store, travel with, and most importantly, apply. It doesn't streak or get all fake and orange, and it dries in about a minute so you won't stain your clothes.

When we first tried it, we were a little skeptical. It was too easy to apply (other than on our backs, of course, but that just gave us an excuse to ask a cute guy for help). It did dry quickly, and nothing came off on our clothes. It couldn't possibly be as fast-acting as they claimed.

Except it totally was!

Just a few hours later, we were considerably tanner than before. And, the next morning, we were a beautiful shade of golden brown. We did miss one patch on our arm, but after applying another TanTowel (you know, to get that perfect toasty shade of George Hamilton), it blended in well enough to not be noticeable.

We used the Plus towelettes, which give you a deeper color faster, but we had a friend try the Classic, and the results were similar if not quite as drastic. The tan is supposed to last four to seven days -- we're on Day Three and still looking great.

Towelette prices begin at $21 for a 10-pack of the Half Body Classic, but there's a wide variety of prices and products (towelettes, sprays, exfoliators, moisturizers and more) available here.
