A little while back we told you about Forgotten Fashion: An Illustrated Faux History of Outrageous Trends and Their Untimely Demise by Kate Hahn, a hilarious book about made up, but all too real, fashions.

For this week's StyleList Giveaway, we have a copy of the book to give to one fashionista who likes to accessorize with her -- or his -- fabulous sense of humor. And it's autographed by the author, Kate Hahn, and Andrae Gonzalo, from Project Runway, who did some of the illustrations.

Ready to laugh? Here's how to enter:
  • Leave a confirmed comment below telling us about your most outrageous fashion attempt.
  • The comment must be left before 5pm ET on Friday, November 14th.
  • You may enter only once.
  • One winner will be selected in a random drawing.
  • One winner will receive a copy of Forgotten Fashion (valued at $12.99.)
  • Open to legal residents of the 50 United States, the District of Columbia who are 18 and over.
Click here for complete Official Rules.

Winners are notified by email, so make sure to check next week to find out if you're the winner!

I once thought it would be very couture to dress up as a man in a black suit - complete with top hat and black tie. Unfortunately, I was called sir through the entire day.

I wore black leggings, a shear white mini dress, and a black sparkly tank over. I cinched the whole mess with a oversized black belt. My sister told me I looked like a hooker going to a funeral instead of a girl trying to impress a cashier at whole foods.

I tried to dress like Carrie Bradshaw from "Sex and the City"...she can pull off a look like leggins with neon green top and a big flower in your hair..I just got laughed at.

Crinolines rustled their way into my teenage years. They looked attractive of the other girls.

could it be the flashdance look the off the shoulder- the big hair with 5 cans of hairspray..the big belt- the leg warmers or the wonderful look before that of the cowboy up north or the hamill haircut that looked more like a bowl cut

Leg Warmers over jeans in the 1980's in Southern California. It was just silly.

Back in the day I was brave and decided to get Barbra Striesand ringlet curls....biggest baddest move I ever did.
I had to grow out my frizzy afro for a long time until I had normal blonde hair again.

My was attempting to be colorful and wore red pants, a blue and white striped shirt, a green sweater vest and a belt with a large buckle with all the above colors around my waist....it was probably a bit much on its own...but by the time I put on my giraffe print shoes, I think I went a bit overboard.

I was in a play in high school and decided the character would be much more striking with dark hair. So I dyed my strawberry blond hair black - not surprisingly, it turned orange. "Striking" indeed.

I once wore a purple skirt and tights with a yellow top and yellow slouch socks. I live in WI and only an hour from MN and all day everyone kept asking if I was a MN Vikings fan.

I saw David's ass - not bad, could have used some contouring. I'd go with 80's glam drag with the eyeliner and foundation for men. How fun to see heterosexual males flirt with their feminine side.

I once paired polka dots with plaid...the colors sort of matched and I thought it would be a fun combination. Long story shot, I thought wrong.

when I was in the 3rd grade my favorite outfit constsited of black wool tights with multi colored polka dots, lime green denim shorts, black Doc Marten lace up combat boots, and any oversized T shirt I could find at the moment. And to top it off..a hair wrap. I'm not joking.
