We'd like to introduce you to Raiquel Cole, CEO of Amourai Organique, a company specializing in all-natural beauty and hair products. Their shampoos and conditioners are free of harmful toxic chemicals like sulfates and parabens, and instead contain natural and organic ingredients to moisturize, strengthen and protect hair. We caught up with Raiquel to find out more about her company's mission and how she got started.
Tell us a little about yourself and your work. Since the age of 13, it has always been my dream to become an entrepreneur. After realizing that I only have one shot at life to live my dreams, I found the guts to go after my dreams and turn my passions for beauty and hair products into a business. I created a natural & organic beauty company because I want to promote a healthy lifestyle, self love, and love for the environment.
How did you get started in the beauty industry? I started out by fulfilling a personal need. I was looking for hair products with ingredients that provide moisture. After researching and discovering that many natural ingredients provide moisture and learning about the dangers of the harmful chemicals found in many consumer products, I decided to start my own line of hair products that were naturally based and free of toxins. This was the start of Amourai Organique.What inspires your work? Glamour, luxury, self love, and the environment inspire my work. I want to provide the best products to customers that I love using myself. I want people to feel a sense of glamour and self appreciation knowing that they use products made with premium ingredients that are safe for them and the environment.
What are your top fashion & beauty must-haves? Eye liner, lip gloss, dazzling earrings, a cute fitted jacket, and a fabulous bag! These are things that can make someone feel glamorous with any outfit.
Any advice you would give to aspiring beauty mavens? It's important to stand for something and to help inspire others. Most importantly, believe in yourself and in your products and be passionate about your work. With passion, the long hours are overshadowed by passion and excitement.
