Victorias Secret, Adriana Lima

We are all supremely excited to see the Victoria's Secret Angels in action on December 3. To hold you off until then, we have an exclusive Stylelist interview with Martin Katz, the man behind this year's 5 million dollar bra, who gave us the backstage scoop from Miami.

The iconic bra is one of the most amazing yet and is almost as gorgeous as the girl who gets to wear it. It's adorned with black diamonds, has one hundred sparkling carats hanging off the center and is polished off with touch of ruby to add "passion, love and romance," says Martin.

He was there when his creation strutted the runway in Miami during the filming of the annual Victoria's Secret show which he excitedly told us, "is wonderfully entertaining." Though Martin mentioned that some of the model's were "a little anxious" backstage (due to backstage actually being underground, the flight of stairs they had to run up and down to get on and off stage, and timing issues because of the latter), it hardly showed as they paraded the runway in true, spirited Angel style.

So what happens to this shimmering bra once the spotlights go dark? "It is for sale and remains safely in a vault until some wealthy person decides he wants to see his loved one it in I guess!" And for those who can actually consider the buy, we asked Martin if a 5 million dollar bra is more difficult to unhook than your run of the mill lingerie. "I sewed it right onto a Miracle Bra so it's just as easy!" Expensive, sparkly and easy to take off – Amen!

Check out Martin's bra on the runway Wednesday, December 3 at 10pm eastern.
