Playboy's CEO to Join Team Obama - Rumor Mill

Christie Hefner and two Playmates in LondonWhen it comes to highlighting the popular trends in lingerie, we think the Victoria's Secret catalog edges out Playboy magazine. But when it comes to raw political power, it looks like the landslide victory goes to the publication with a naughty little bunny as its mascot. According to the rumor mill, Playboy's CEO Christie Hefner might be under consideration for a cabinet position with Team Obama.

Christie Hefner (as in, Hugh's daughter) was a staunch supporter of President Elect Obama during the campaign and now, is apparently leaving the nudity business. Now she's politicking for a spot on team Obama, but what position might that be? Some have suggested: Secretary of Centerfolds. We're thinking: Plastic Surgeon General. In Hefner's own words:
"Like many Americans, I've been struck by the call to service that was the hallmark of the campaign, and I was an early supporter of Senator Obama, now President-Elect Obama, and I believe deeply in what he wants to do for our country."
After running the most popular porno mag in the country for the last 20 years, we imagine that Christie should be well prepared to enter the world of politics. The biggest challenge might just be dealing with a much sleazier grade of sleazeballs.

In these hard economic times, even Playboy has been feeling the pinch of declining ad sales. The company is looking to axe 55 jobs and leave another 25 positions unfilled. Christie insists that the struggles in bunnyland have nothing to do with her stepping down.

Many of his past associations and dealings with Rezko, Wright, unapologetic terrorist etc. should already be an embarrassment, but he's still as confident and haughty as ever.He has bypassed security measures by hiding personal records, bought his way into the presidency, lied about friends, tried to bargain with Iraq leaders, met behind closed doors and opened the door for Iran's president to have a platform to speak chilling threats, and worked with Acorn against the banks. I predict he will probably have a sleasy affair like his role model, Clinton. But the Media and America love this man...... America is spiraling down by immorality and breaking not just God's laws, but any common sense values.

This is what happens when we let the media select the president. We have been obamboozled...... IT is starting before he takes office because the media did not vette him and he had two years of campaining. His chicago past will catch up with him - and of course their is a blue dress or worse jockey shorts in his future.

why can't we see what happen when the new elect is in office before and after the first term. Obama himself said the night he walked out after winning the election, this is not going to be easy. It will take months, and even the first term. This country needs to stop this bullshit and be proud and help our own for the needs of this country. IF the middle class is unable to keep jobs, then then who is going to help them if we do not stop this stupid bickering? I am as mad as a lot of us are due to the government of this country. Watching from both sides of the borders and America and Americans are sinking every minute with her ......wake up and stop the damn hate. who cares what color you are as long as the government does it jobs to protect the ones who have made this country their home. OUR OWN GOVERNMENT HAS DONE THIS AND HAS BEEN VERY IGNORANT TO THE AMERICAN PEOPLE AND WE ALL SEE THROUGH THOSE PEOPLE BUT WE LET THEM STAY IN OFFICE UNTIL THEY DIE, WHAT IS WRONG WITH THIS PICTURE? WE LOSE THE BRAIN CELLS AS WE GROW OLDER AND OUR GOVERNMENT WITH AND WITHOUT CELLS are LEADIDN US TOWARDS, WAR, HATE, AND LOSS OF THE AMERICAN DREAM. HOW DO THEY SLEEP, OH, THEY ARE PAID WEALTHY ENOUGH SO THEY DO NOT WORRY, HOW IGNORANT OF ME. EASE UP AND LET THE NEW ELECT A CHANCE BEFORE HIS JOB PERFORMANCE IS VOTED ON, LIKE THE REST OF THEM. HOW MUCH LOWER CAN WE GO WITH PRESIDENT BUSH PERCENTAGES?

Umm, potatoes are from Idaho, not Iowa. Iowa's most famous for corn (remember "Field of Dreams?" ). And the President-Elect was a Senator from Illinois, not Iowa (or even Idaho).

So, I understand that in politics, there are heated opinions on both sides of the fence. When responding, particularly when you say something inflammatory and controversial, don't you think you should get your references straight? How about doing a spell check? Maybe even throw in some proper English grammar? It is a simple suggestion because a lot of the posts on the political blogs make the respondents sound extremely uneducated.

This all figures. So far all Obama has done is turn over rocks for the lowest and sleeziest people possible for his cabinet. Birds of a feather flock together.

Ya know I don't blame Obama for taking advantage of the stupidity of the voters. It was divine intervention the way things were aligned for him to sell his message. All the little people panicked & voted for the "clueless" candidate. I doubt any truth to this girl being a cabinet member but if she is,,,,,,,,,

I'm not in favor having Hugh Hefner's daughter joining the Washington president staff which I never voted this year..Who cares this past election was a real LAUGH...Do me a favor hire Bill Clinton to join the staff which that would be a good choice instead of Hugh's daughter for the future government job which Hillary can watch him better instead of him on the road...
