How many times have you set your purse down in public – on a restaurant floor, on a bathroom counter, dropped it on a dance floor? Or how about all the times you've fumbled around in the depths of your bag looking for keys? Purses can be problematic but we've got a fashionable solution for floor filth and lost keys.

Local Hardwear makes adorable hooks that double as a handbag hanger and a key finder. Just to see how well they worked we took "Charlotte" from the Steppin' Out collection (which are all named after SATC characters by the way) for a spin.

Instead of slumping our beautiful handbag on the seat next to us, where someone else's butt just was (gross!), we used Charlotte to suspend our bag well out of harm's way. Next up, when dinner was done, we swiped the keys from the table, hung them on Charlotte, stuck her on our purse, shopped, and upon our return to the car, we didn't have to stand in the freezing Phila weather fumbling for keys but rather, with one fell swoop grabbed them and unlocked our door. What a good little helper Charlotte was!

Best of all, she's small enough to store in the side pocket of our bag until we need to call upon her again, which we definitely will!
