Need some makeup tips to save time in the mornings? Probably.
"Women these days are crazy busy," says makeup artist Carmindy. "Most only have 5 minutes to spare on their face makeup." So she developed the 5 Minute Face, an easy, pretty look that even makeup novices can apply in five minutes flat.
It focuses only on the face makeup you really need (plus Carmindy's secret weapon, highlighter - see Step 5!), and cuts out the fluff.

STEP 1: Foundation
Right after applying your moisturizer, apply one squirt of a liquid foundation. Blend it in well with a sponge, a foundation brush, or your fingers. This will even out your skin tone without looking overdone.

STEP 2: Concealer
Apply a little undereye concealer, just beneath the inner corners of the eyes, with a concealer brush or your fingers. It's a really fast way to score a fresh, wide awake look.

STEP 3: Powder
Set your makeup and score an even, velvety finish with a light dusting of translucent powder.

STEP 4: Eyeliner
Enhance your eye shape and color by subtly outlining them with a brown pencil liner. Apply it on the upper lash line only. Then, use a Q-Tip to smudge and blend the color into the lash line for a really natural liner look.

STEP 5: Highlight
"The real key to the five minute face is highlighter," says Carmindy. There are three key places to apply it - underneath the eye brows, right on top of the tear ducts, and at the temples, rounding around to the top of the cheekbones.

STEP 6: Mascara
Finish off the eyes with black mascara, swept from roots to tips on the top lashes only.

STEP 7: Blush
Add a little outdoorsy color to the face with a petal pink blush. Use a big, fluffy powder brush to apply it to the apples of the cheeks.

STEP 8: Lips
The final step is color on the lips. Opt for a sheer gloss in a pretty, natural pink shade and sweep it on.
