London Layover? Bring Your Credit Card
Planning to spend some time in London's Heathrow Airport? Head over to Terminal 5 and get ready to shop -- the world's most highly publicized airport terminal is going upscale and exclusive with some of the biggest names in high-end retail.
With a long enough layover (and enough disposable income), you can shop Prada, Gucci, Bulgari, Dior, Coach, and Harrods. You could breeze through Dior's 800-square-foot accessories store in just a few minutes, or spend a little more time in Prada's 2600-square-foot store.
Rather than just finding the same old designer wares in these stores, you'll be able to get your hands on exclusive products and other goodies unique to the Terminal 5 location. Some of the stores that aren't quite so high-end focus more on offering special sales.

oh god how ironic.
i just came back from a trip in europe and i had to stop in london heathrow for 7 hours!
in my boredom...i bought a 100 euro givenchy wallet among other things i didn't need at all
