Designer Patrick Robinson's latest effort as Head Designer for The Gap is a bright one. He's teamed with Pantone -- which has a worldwide lock on all things color, from fabric to paint -- to create a line of tees for the company.

From Pantone's color of the year, mimosa (shown above) to baby blue, the shades are likely to snap wearers out of the winter doldrums. Buy them up at the 54th St. and 5th Avenue pop-up shop, just next door to The Gap. But don't delay -- the store opened this week and will shut on February 8.

Robinson says a sunny view on the world inspired the collaboration. "At the last show, the word 'optimistic' was in the air and that is truly the core and heart of Gap," he told The Moment blog. "We're all about optimism, and there is no better way to show that than in color."
