Katie Couric's New Hair Cut: The Case of the Missing Mullet

Katie's hair is all business up front. But it's lost the party in the back. That's right, The Couric Mullet has gone missing!

Katie committed a major beauty blunder when she appeared on the CBS Evening News in early December sporting a mullet (pictured, right). Now don't get us wrong - we love a good rattail....on 15 year old Taylor Momsen. But not so much on the lead anchor of a major broadcasting company.

Now, Katie has switched it up on us again with a pert pixie hairstyle (pictured, left). While we prefer it to December's mullet, we do find her new look a tad masculine - but Katie's strand shenanigans are distracting us from the dire economy and the Iraq War, so we guess that's a good thing. Whatever happened to the fun-loving, stylish Katie with the cute shoulder-length coif?

Of course, she's had a few hair missteps in the past (see the gallery of Katie's hair through the years, below) but we think this stoic and serious version is a total snore. It's a change we definitely don't believe in - how about you? - Dana Oliver

Katie Curic is a too perky Valley Girl. She is one of the least attractive News Anchors on T.V. so really, is her hair going to make a difference??? It would be wonderful to see the good things printed people like Katie are doing with their money and how they are helping humanity rather then unimportant things like hair do's.

Katie Couric is my hero! When a large number of people were in love with the McPain ticket, Couric did us all a huge service in exposing the Pain portion of the scam. In refusing to let Palin off the hook by way of her looks that said "are you kidding me" and her repeated questions, i.e., "yes, but can you name one magazine you have read," Couric has established herself as a journalist/media force. If you want her head, you must surely despise what she represents, forthright communication. . . Couric represents a return to accountability in media and government. What the hay is wrong with that?

I think Katie looks beautiful - and I don't see the "mullet". But her doesn't matter - what matters is that she exposed the biggest IDIOT who ever ran for office - SARAH PALIN. Thank God she showed the entire country what a complete moron SARAH PALIN was. So after doing our country that wonderful service, she has the right to wear whatever hairstyle she wants!

Katie is a Left wing Lib who has proven her discust for the other side. rather than give objective reporting, which is what media SHOULD be doing, she proves tht shes biased. She giave Former President Busch a very brash interview while downright giggling when she interviewed Clinton and now Obama.
The hair wont help her. Shes GOT to go!

I really like her new hair-do, I think she looks more professional. The lold ook was getting very sloppy at times, and not looking as if she was even doing it before she went on the air.......Life is full of changes...Change is good!

She has worked diligently to get where she is. A relentless person...she is phenominal..assertive, brilliant, direct, amazing....all the qualities we think is great for a man and unladilike for a woman........well the rules have changed.......She is one of the best....barr none....get over it TJ...get used to it........its a new era.........and please please please......dont ever underestimate the power and intellect of a woman.........thank you Pookey
