Since 2003, the husband and wife design team of Nelson and Sisi Li have built a sturdy, under-the-radar rep for knitwear and custom textiles under the Iisli label. Well, as under-the-radar as possible considering the collection is available at Bergdorf Goodman, Bloomingdale's, Saks Fifth Avenue and Nordstrom. And, now, the Iisli pop-up location at 25 Bond Street, NYC has extended its run through the end of March. Plus, there's a super-duper pre-Valentine's Day sale through January 29th.
The location is an attraction itself as a 1,000 sq. ft. installation, called The Cube. The idea is to create a guerilla store that offers a complete feel with furniture, lighting and interior design. It's also a reflection of the Iisli mentality to "travel well and hold tailored shapes," according to a recent press release. The current sale includes skirts, pants, cardigans, jackets, dresses and more from Falll '08 and Resort '08, at up to 80% off.
