People, we're in a recession here. Everywhere you look there are folks on TV and on the radio telling you ways you can cut back and save money. But, we think that Lady Gaga has found the best strategy to make her cash go a little further -- she's stopped buying pants!

We're pretty sure this is the way of the future. Soon, nobody will be able to afford jeans or trousers. We'll all be sporting unitards and high heels, a la Gaga.

And speaking of Lady Gaga, did you know she even writes songs with pantless performances in mind? The songstress reveals, "When I'm writing music, I'm thinking about the clothes I want to wear on stage. It's all about everything altogether."

Ok, so we're totally kidding. We don't hope that the recession ushers in a pantless era for America. That's not the kind of change we wanted. Gaga walks around the streets in her finest Louboutins and her crazy leotards, but somehow, we don't think the average Jane could quite pull off the same look.
