Dickson Hairshop Products for Men
Men, we know you want to look good, smell good, and all that, but who has time to test out all that fancy metrosexual crap for your hair and face? We do. And Dickson Hairshop Products are the bomb -- the faintly juniper and cedar scented bomb. Girls, if you know a guy who could use a little pampering for Valentine's Day, you should read this, too.
We got the nice man at right to try out a whole slew of products sent to us by Swell Enterprises, Inc. (the makers of Dickson Hairshop products). The products are crafted from all-natural, plant-derived ingredients and are made and bottled by hand in small quantities in upstate New York. Their "Now Have a Shave" shaving lotion was voted "Best New Shave Lotion" by Esquire Magazine in November 2008.
Dickson Hairshop itself is a swanky, old-school style barbershop for rock stars located on New York City's Lower East Side. Check out their website if you're in New York and let them do you up. Seriously.
We couldn't part with the Dickson Hairshop Candle's delicious juniper, cedar, and white pepper scent ($22), nor could we let go of the Liquid Hand Soap ($18), but the rest of the products were meant for boys, so we thought we'd let a boy try them. Check out the gallery for product-by-product reviews from an actual dude.

I am so pleased that the Dickson product line is getting the attention it deserves! I purchase the shampoo and conditioner for my uncle (and also for myself), he loves the unique scent and according to him so do the ladies. My mother and I love the candle (bubble bath, glass of wine, good book, and a very cool aroma-it doesn't get any better!) I have recommended all the products to my friends and family and they thanked me for turning them onto the Dickson line!
