Sonic Youth co-founder Kim Gordon has always had a singular style, both onstage and off. Her latest foray into fashion is Mirror/Dash, a line of floaty, affordable dresses, blazers and T-shirts that just made its (exclusive) way onto the racks at Urban Outfitters.

This wasn't a solo effort, either. Gordon teamed with Melinda Wansbrough (a Mayle alum), and Jeffrey Monteiro (who used to work with Derek Lam) on the mini-collection. The trio previously released a winter jacket under the Mirror/Dash name, but with pieces from $54 to $98, their Urban Outfitters' line is simple, flattering and actually affordable.

Gordon says her inspirations were French chanteuse Francoise Hardy and the idea that she was designing for "cool moms" everywhere.

We especially like the relaxed T-shirts and black, stand-up collar jacket. Pair them with some ripped jeans and you may look as coolly disheveled as Gordon herself. (We can't help you on the guitar skills, though.)
