Christian Siriano -- the adorable and talented winner of "Project Runway," season four -- made waves with the shoes he sent down the runway at New York Fashion Week earlier this month.
The booties and platform pumps, with cone-shaped heels and Gothic details like chains and spikes, came in rich colors like turqouise and brown. And studded handbags rounded out the accessories. (Siriano says Cleopatra was an influence.)
And they were all created in partnership with -- wait for it -- Payless ShoeSource.
That means that unlike a lot of runway shoes, Siriano's stunners will actually go on sale -- at completely affordable prices. This is just one more example of Payless' partnership with the fashion world. Abaete, Alice + Olivia and Lela Rose have all contributed mini-collections to the mass retailer's shelves.
The only thing we'd change about Christian Siriano for Payless? The fact that we'll have to wait until September, when the line hits stores, to snag a pair.
