At a time when celebrity clothing lines aren't doing all that well, Kevin Federline has decided to throw his greasy trucker hat into the ring. And, since he's most famous for being a baby daddy, it's pretty fitting, we suppose, that he's planning to design a line of children's clothing.
K-Fed told WWD, "It's a really tough business, I'm trying to take it seriously and make a quality product for kids but not have parents pay like $500 or something ridiculous for a pair of jeans." He acknowledges that a pair of True Religion jeans gets dirty and ruined just as quickly as a less expensive pair -- it's just that the True Religion jeans set you back $200.
He wants to keep it reasonable -- hey, even Ex-Mrs. Britney is feeling the economic crunch right now, which was the whole motivation behind starting this line. He's working with Gerard Guez on a licensing deal, so you could see a K-Fed collection for kiddies showing up in a mall near you before long. Would you buy his collection of itty-bitty wife beaters and baggy jeans?
