Two of our favorite everyday brands, Ella Moss and Splendid, are expanding their repertoire to include brand spanking new "Wovens" collections in equally fresh silhouettes. By now you might be asking yourself, "What's the difference between a woven and what they have now?" Well if you don't know, you're about to find out why the woven lines are just a smidge more tailored and basically awesome. Can't forget awesome.

Right now both brands feature lots of comfy jerseys and cotton knits. Knits are great because they offer a little give, are wrinkle resistant, light weight, and can "breathe." But because of the super stretchability, knits can't be constructed in a sexy, tailored way. In comes the wovens which are super versatile and can be cut into shapes that knits simply cannot. It is also thinner and not prone to unravel or produce "pulls" like its counterpart. Patterns and fun, funky extras like buttons and sequins are also much easier to apply on a woven. So if you don't know, now you know!

So while we know both brands for their great everyday basics, we are excited to introduce you to a more structured Ella Moss and Splendid collection thanks to their new woven fabric collections. You can expect the traditional knit staples alongside the crisp, casual wovens that will include tantalizing trousers, prim pencil skirts, knockout knickers, sizzling shirt dresses, and our favorite the absolutely adorable Ella Moss Jumper (pictured).
