We wouldn't say that Reebok is known for their sexy sportswear or fashion-forward shoes. Nor would we say that Leighton Meester is known for her casual athletic sense of fashion. So we were a bit confused by Leighton and Reebok partnering up to promote the brand's Top Down line. Surely nobody from "Gossip Girl" shops at Lady Foot Locker! Oh, the horror!

But hey, money talks and where there's a will there's a way. Leighton found a way to make Reebok sneakers fit her look this weekend when she made an appearance at Lady Foot Locker to do promotions for them.

And honestly, we're kind of amazed. Sure, the tennis shoes may not be six-inch Louboutins, perfect for the red carpet. But Leighton totally makes the outfit work, even while wearing a feminine floaty dress combined with a trendy leather jacket in her signature style.

We almost want to run out and buy some Reeboks right now -- hiring Leighton is working! We retract all our earlier statements about this being a mismatched ad campaign -- either Leighton has us brainwashed, or the people at Reebok are actually diabolical marketing geniuses.
