Sarah Jessica Parker is a fearless fashionista, who constantly pushes the boundaries of style and good taste. It's inevitable that she occasionally puts a toe -- or a sheer, black nylon gloved hand -- over that boundary, like the ones she wore to the American Ballet's Winter Ball.
Her ensemble at had so many interesting parts, which was part of the problem.
The emerald green, fish scale dress has a lot of pattern, but that would be fine with a less busy shoe. Or if she hadn't taken the wildlife motif to "eleven" by wearing a shoulder cape of black feathers.
And then there are the gloves. Perhaps the less said about them the better. We can all make believe they don't exist, and maybe they will quietly disappear, taking the worst of SJP's StyleFoul! offense with them!
