While the rest of America had March Madness on the brain last weekend, we were thinking of one thing and one thing only: the highly anticipated return of MTV's House of Style. In fact, we pushed back a much-needed manicure appointment by an hour just so we could see how amazing the new HoS 2.0 looked in its new glossy and HD friendly form, and boy, were we ever disappointed!

Sure, MTV teamed up with the lovely ladies over at Teen Vogue to put the thirty minute special together. And yes, it should have been expected that there would be less high fashion coverage and more segments geared towards teens with budget conscious parents. Still, the world would have been a much better place without the segment on how to make friendship bracelets ... if you have a couple of hundred dollars of gold and silver charms and chains lying around your house.

Plus, while we believe Bar Rafaeli has the potential to be a supermodel one day, her shot at being the next model-turned-talk show host isn't looking too good right now. We're not sure if it was because of her accent or because she was just really nervous, but we could hardly make out any of the sentences she was trying to construct throughout the entire episode. Nonetheless, check out this clip of Bar interviewing Justin Timberlake at his William Rast show to understand where we're coming from. MTV, we thought you were better than this.
