Today's featured indie designer, Jane Redman of WoveNotes, offers up a unique way to make your gifts a bit more special. Her company creates handmade, custom stationery, including mini notes and gift tags, crafted from recycled fabric remnants from her interior design business. These fabric notes and tags add the perfect finishing touch to gifts for any occasion.

Tell us a little about yourself and your work. My name is Jane Redman, and I am married to a wonderful, unbelievable man that is always there to support me, whatever it may be. We have two beautiful, incredible children who are grown and doing well on their own. Last but not least we have two boxers named Kaiya and Max (big babies).

My love for fabrics and design has influenced my path in life. I own three businesses, all of which are intertwined with beautiful fabrics. Covered In Style, Inc, FabricAlley and now WoveNotes.

WoveNotes was created to offer unique and custom fabric greeting cards, note cards, gift tags and now Mini Notes. They give our customers something totally different with lasting memories! All are one of a kind with endless choices --
they add color to your life!

Who are your favorite designers? My favorites are not craft designers; it would be an interior designer, Candis Olson. Got to love her work!

What are your top fashion & beauty must-haves? Simple: brush, lip gloss or lipstick, eye shadow and mascara.

Any advice you would give to aspiring designers? Never give up! Someone out there will love your work!
