Mega international retailer MANGO has tapped Scarlett Johansson as the new face of its fashion-forward brand.

For the Fall/Winter campaign, Johansson will be following in the equally sultry footsteps of Penelope Cruz (her "Vicky Cristina Barcelona" co-star). Cruz has fronted the brand for the past four seasons and designed a limited-edition collection MNG by MANGO with her sister Monica.

MANGO calls Scarlett the perfect face for its brand, describing her as "embodying the ideal MANGO woman; chic, independent, and cosmopolitan. Johansson exudes a confident demeanor while remaining youthful and playful."

The Spanish company, which launched in 1984, has been a smash hit since coming stateside in 2006. Despite a rough economy, the brand continues to grow in the US, opening 12 stores and offering an ecommerce site in just a few short years.

Also "launched" in 1984, Johansson has numerous ad campaigns under her fashionable belt, yet also knows the other side of the industry, having collaborated on a clothing line with Reebok in 2006.

If you're not familiar with the MANGO, or its sultry pics of Cruz, check out the site. Now! You'll want everything Cruz is wearing. Previous campaign models include Milla Jovovich, Lizzy Jagger, Karolina Kurkova, Eva Herzigova and Diane Kruger.

Johansson clearly has large, er, sexy shoes to fill, but we can only imagine how covetable she'll make the brand's fall collection.

Plus, with her second album "Break Up" (yes, she can sing, too!) being released on September 8 (you'll be able to dress like Scarlett and sing along to her Pete Yorn duets.) Okay, maybe that's verging on creepy!
