'MTV Movie Awards' - Where Trekkie-Inspired Fashion Ruled

Ashley Tisdale's look screams,"Beam me up, Scotty!" Photo by Getty Images

Perhaps inspired by the recent release of the "Star Trek" movie, pop stars at last night's "MTV Movie Awards" dressed like they had just stepped off the USS Enterprise.

Being that the cable network giant caters to such a young crowd, it was no surprise that micro-mini dresses were the biggest trend of the night. Youngsters like Ashley Tisdale (in an Elise Øverland dress and Paul & Joe Sister heels), Kristen Stewart, Megan Fox, and Leighton Meester all came baring their thighs, as did industry fashion favorites Sienna Miller and Sandra Bullock.

Check out our "MTV Movie Awards" gallery below and vote on who you think rocked the fashion-forward trend and who was just a style space case.

I don't know who dressed these stars but they did a horrible job this year. The dresses were very ugly and not flattering to the ladies what so ever.

Who cares what these trashy tramps wear. Most of them are nothing but egomaniac overpaid attention seeking dopeheads or gays pushing their agenda and if they had to live in the REAL world without all their wealth and fame with a real job like everyone else they would not make it thirty days.

Well aren't we a little cranky? DOnt be upset at those people who worked hard to get where they are. Show biz is not all that fun, ask anyone whose in it. You would find out that you are in for alot more than what you bargained for!

For instance, they have to put up with people like you , who want to insult them because you dont have what they do. Could YOU DO 30 in their shoes? TRY IT!

i have to agree with you about celebs not being able to make it in the real world... id love to see miley try to work one shift at a fast food joint.... now that would be enterntanment. that is a good idea for a reality show.. celebs have to live like real people for say a week... id love to watch them FREAK out about how HARD it is... lol

gays "push their agendas"??? who the hell are you to stereotype that; i have tons of gay friends and none of them have "agendas" nor would they push them off on people

sure celebs can be horribly bitchy and most probably couldn't make it on thier own but you can't say that they're all like that, some of them actually work for a living, acting isn't the easiest thing ever to do, some of them are good people, don't judge them all as a whole, that'd just make you as bad as them

i didn't like the micro-mini dresses at all because they are not flattering on anyone. they make the hip area look weird. the shoe style that most girls wore with the dresses were not the best choice either.

How in the world would you know? Being in the spotlight is not as easy as everyone seems to think. No Maybe they wouldn't be good at a so called regular job(whicH I think is a joke anyway) But shoot nobody know's how to do anything they haven't been taught how to do. So untill someone does that then ppl really need to back off and worry about more important things

Garland...You are a moron.
As the brother of a lesbian, and a friend to a gay guy, and in the congragation with a "couple" of gays. I know something of their "agenda". They DON'T have one, and live in the same world as your do, maybe someone should, as you so hatefully put it, "LIVE IN THE REAL WORLD."
My advise to your nastiness...Don't breed, you are polluting my gene pool.
