If you weren't born with full lips, don't worry! Makeup expert Carmindy, star of TLC's What Not To Wear, shares her best secrets for plumping, enhancing, and making the most of the mouth you've got!
Beauty Basics: Plump Your Lips
Start with shimmering lip pencil:
Choose a pale lip pencil with a little bit of shimmer and trace your lip line. "This will capture the light create a nice full-looking lip, as well as seals in the color so you won't have any bleeding," explains Carmindy.

Cupid's bow shimmer trick:
Take a tiny eye shadow brush and dab it in a little bit of loose white shimmer powder. Then apply it right on top of the cupid's bow(that's the little ridge above your upper lip) to catch the light and give the illusion of fuller lips.

Fill in lips with lipstick:
Try a pretty, but neutral shade of pink lipstick to fill in your lips. Use a lip brush to carefully paint the color onto your lips.

Carmindy also likes to apply a bit of the loose shimmer powder along the bottom edge of the lower lip, too, for an even better pouty effect.
