Was Megan Fox simply tired of looking like a typical bronzed Maxim-made hottie? Or was it that her makeup artist missed the bit about matching foundation to skin tone?

Either way, Fox put on quite the Kabuki performance at the Giorgio Armani Privé fashion show.

My guess is that it was an homage to Marilyn Monroe gone awry. The pale skin, coupled with thick black eyeliner and red lipstick was reminiscent of the late actress, whose likeness is tattooed on Fox's arm.

Though it caught me off guard, I should have known Fox would unleash a few surprises on the press this week. Over the last couple of months, she's been a verbal loose cannon.

She insulted "Transformers" director Michael Bay ("Working with Michael Bay is not an acting experience," she told Entertainment Weekly), speculated in the pages of Esquire that "High School Musical" is about something far more disturbing than one ever imagined, and in the same article, proclaimed herself a sex object.

"It just sort of oozes out of my pores," she said. (Modest, too,)

Megan, you're a ridiculously beautiful girl, but with that much caked on makeup, nothing's getting through those pores.
