YSL's Parisienne Fragrance Brings Out the Kate Moss in All of Us. Merci!

Sure you do, or at least that's what the people at YSL are hoping.
They've hired Moss as the face of their upcoming fragrance, Parisienne -- a scent that's meant to embody the sexy, impulsive, mysterious spirit that Parisiennes (and Moss) are known for.
Having seen the full-length movie advertisement for the scent, I can assure you that any woman with a pulse will want to own a piece of the Parisienne lifestyle après viewing.
This ultra-hot film follows Moss through a night in Paris. The narrative: A fast-paced montage of crumpled sheets, sweaty skin, perfectly-smudged eyeliner, Parisian skyscapes and a black leather YSL bodice-hugging number thrown in for good measure. (Can you say lifestyle envy?)

One, you've got to like rose. It's at the heart of this ultra-feminine scent.
Two, if you don't, trust me, this isn't the stuffy, dusty rose you may be envisioning. That's because YSL uses Damas rose (read: very expensive rose), cuts it with powdery violet and throws a sharp, bitter "vinyl" note on top, giving it a naughty edge.
The resulting scent is chic and mysterious (just like Moss) and cheaper than a ticket to Paris. Or a YSL black leather bodysuit for that matter. Well done, YSL!
Parisienne launches in September on yslbeautyus.com.
