Bar Refaeli Replaces Gisele Bündchen as the New Face of Rampage

Here's another thing models Bar Refaeli and Gisele Bündchen have in common (besides Leonardo DiCaprio): Bar has replaced Gisele as the new face of Rampage!

Rampage announced yesterday (July 22) that the Sports Illustrated cover girl would star in the brand's Fall 2009 campaign. Shot by photographer Gilles Bensimon, the sexy, Israeli beauty models the contemporary label's clothing, accessories, lingerie and footwear.

"The Rampage line is comfortable and the cuts are very feminine. It always fits perfectly to the curves of a woman's body--I have curves and I feel really good in it!" Refaeli adds.

Here's a sneak peek at the new ads, plus a behind-the-scenes video of the shoot (above). Watch for their official debut this September in magazines like Elle and Lucky.

Compared to Gisele's supermodel proportions, Bar is definitely curvier. Rampage's chief marketing officer, Dari Marder, explains, "We were looking for a fresh new face to follow our spring campaign with Gisele Bünchen and when we met Bar we instantly fell in love with her. Bar is sweet, young, sexy and beautiful just like our Rampage customer."

They are both hot, but not beautiful. Giselle looks cute and atractive like an outdoorsy type of chick. The replacement looks like a descent looking stripper who's all make-up, but has a better body. Giselle is too skinny and tall for most men's taste.

This is so obviously a calculated move to get some publicity, of all the beautiful women out there, they just happen to pick Leo's
girlfriend (ex?) to replace Leo' s ex-girlfriend. Really, who would be talking about Rampage's new ad campaign if not for this fact?

Bar all the way! I have never liked Giselle, and I still don't see what all of the fuss about her is. Her facial features just look too harsh to me- the big German nose for instance. I think Bar definitely gives the brand a nice change.
