Lynda Carter, who is probably best known for her role as the American lady-hero, Wonder Woman, will make an appearance at Talbots on Madison Avenue in New York to celebrate Fashion's Night Out on September 10. While she wont be wearing her satin patriotic bodysuit, she will be singing songs from her new CD. No, it doesn't include the Wonder Woman theme song.

While the book and CD Internet emporium normally doesn't hand out big money for a mega purchase a for company like Zappos, Amazon's CEO says it doesn't mean that they are disappointed with their own shoe site. The promotional pictures for the upcoming film "Coco Before Chanel" staring Audrey Tautou have fallen victim to a little Photoshop action. In accordance with The British Advertising Standards Authority's "guidelines about glamorizing smoking," the famous picture of Madame Coco Chanel holding a cigarette has been voluntarily altered to look as if she is holding a healthy writing utensil...a pen.
NORDSTROM TAKES MANHATTAN
New York has plenty of department stores for shopaholics to spend their days in from Lord and Taylor, Bloomingdales, Macy's and a brand new JC Penney. Until now, it has been without Nordstrom. Though the store wont be full line specialty retail, it's discounted sister, Nordstrom Rack is set to take over the 32,000 square feet of space once occupied by Virgin Megastore.
