How Much Would You Pay for the Perfect Shampoo?

That's the price tag on Philip B.'s Russian Amber Imperial Shampoo, which launched in the winter and gained a cult following despite the recession.
The so-called "fountain of youth" for hair contains "an extraordinarily high dose of Vitamin B5" along with a catalyst ingredient called Phytantriol that "sinks moisture deep into every strand."
Add to that the silk, wheat, and soy proteins, shea butter, and amber oil, and you've certainly got yourself a recipe for one luxurious jar of suds.
Admit it, you're kind of curious.
Well, here's the good news: The company will launch a 2 ounce version for $18 in 2010.
So tell us: Would you pay $140 for a hair product? Will you wait for the $18 size? Or are both too expensive for a shampoo? Leave a comment below!
