Lily Allen Stars in New Chanel Ads

We just got our hands on Lily Allen's Chanel ad campaign for the new "Coco Cocoon" bag collection and we are loving what we see.

The images, shot by Karl Lagerfeld last month, show an incredibly svelte Allen playing with the puffy Michelin Man-like bags that come in nylon and lambskin.

The singer and designer have been crushing on each other for a while now. Allen sports Lagerfeld's creations all around town and is a front row fixture at Chanel's runway shows, so this collaboration shouldn't come as a huge surprise.

Allen recently told Britian's More magazine that she doesn't feel comfortable modeling. "It's not something that comes naturally to me, especially when I'm working with fashion photographers because they're used to working with really tall, skinny and beautiful models and I'm very aware that I'm 5'2" and a size 12." Not comfortable? Could have fooled us.

I find your comment very rude. It would be like me saying I liked Sarah Brightman or Charlotte Church until I found out they were Christian. Talent is talent and religious preference doesn't change that. As a Christian or whatever you are, the true idea of religion, is to be kind to others and NOT condemning. I was part of a Baptist church for over 12 years. I don't hate them, I'm not rude to them and I certainly do not regret my time with them. I simply chose another life path. I find it sad that you can be so easily swayed against someone based on their religion. It's the same as being against someone because of race. It's wrong. You know it, I know it and pretty much everyone else knows it. All I'm saying is don't let your religion breed hatred for someone you don't knowand don't discount her talent simply because she's different from you.

So what if she is an athiest! Come down off your high christian horse and show the love you've been preaching! Atheists are good people too. They just believe something different than you do. Just because someone says they are athiest does not mean they don't follow the rules of society. They obey laws, pay taxes, love their children and their neighbors, contribute to worthy causes, show compasion etc. You are a very shallow human being if you think that just because someone admits to being an athiest that they aren't worthy of your admiration or at the very least your consideration. Just so you know, you "holier-than-thou" christians are NOT better than everyone else!

Is there a single other person out there who things Scarlett Johansen is real' funny-lookin'? I love her acting, but I can't get over the Sarah J Parker-type phenomenon that she's hot. Looks like someone needs to hold back her hair while she finishes heaving.

"....don't let your religion breed hatred for someone". Did I say I hated her? No. I said I didn't LIKE her. Don't I have the right to not like someone for whatever reason? I was simply stating how I felt, not promoting any sort of hatred. Sounds to me like you're trying to supress free speech. If I said I didn't like broccolli does that mean i'm being rude to vegetarians ?

Quentin, yes, whether it is right or wrong, you have the right to judge another person for whatever reason. In a similar manner, others have the right to judge you for being superficial, or prejudiced, or whatever. To styme the dialogue is suppress free speech. The topic of tolerance and acceptance is particularly relevant today. We live in such a divisive world that it is important to be aware of the effect of out statements. Each of us can make a small difference (good or bad) in our world. Whatever we do comes back to us threefold. Wouldn't three times the compassion and acceptance of others be better than the alternative?

Blake, you're being ignorant. For most people, their religion was chosen for them by their parents. Stop being so small minded. You're probably afraid of the gays, also.

Anyway, I'm posting NOT to educate BLAKE, but to give my opinion on Lily Allen. She has gone from a pretty girl and has grown into a beautiful and elegant young woman.

To those of you that "never heard of her", next time, use your "spend money" and buy a CD, not a phonograph needle. I LOVE my records, but come on, step into the 3rd Millenium, folks!
